Attention CTOs: For the next 10 days I am offering 10 free coaching sessions.
I've had a long career in technology leadership. I've faced many challenges and overcome them. I love to coach and share what I learned. Here's how I pay it forward.
CTOs need more support. The confluence of roles, career paths, and this technology era presents a challenge that CTOs must overcome.
There’s a gap in the amount of support available to CTOs. I am keen to do my part to rectify this gap and pay forward the generosity I was afforded by those who helped me along the way in my 28 years leading global technology teams.
I’ve led software product development and I.T. teams, from startups to enterprises, across various sectors. I’ve navigated many complicated situations, including finding product-market fit, economic downturns and upswings, doing more with less and more with more, mergers and acquisitions, and balancing investment across multiple international markets at different stages of maturity and degree of market penetration. I’ve led teams against global competitors with deep pockets, and we’ve won.
I can help you overcome similar challenges.
Starting today, I have made ten coaching slots available in my calendar. These will be available for the next ten days. More details below.
Is a coaching session right for me?
Are you a CTO or in a similar executive-level technology-related role (CIO, CDO, CISO, CPO, CPTO, Founder)? Do any of the following describe your situation and how you feel?
The team seems to overlook issues that feel glaringly obvious to you.
You are very busy, and your calendar is always full.
Are you feeling worried that you are lacking something all CTOs should have?
It feels lonely in the role, and few can empathise with your situation. There’s no one to bounce ideas off and compare notes with.
You are starting to doubt you are in the right role.
These are common feelings for CTOs and technology leaders, regardless of whether you are new or have been in the role for a long time. I’ve overcome all these and more in my technology leadership roles.
I can support you on all of these and more. I’ve been through it and coached and mentored many others experiencing these challenges.
What puts me in a good position to coach you on these issues?
I coach by meeting where you, the CTO, and your organisation are. That means I am adaptable to your current situation and needs. I don’t attempt to apply a cookie-cutter solution to your unique situation.
I listen, ask questions, and help you explore your options. When I am invited, I provide advice.
With each new challenge, I was fortunate to find support from peers and mentors to make it through. You can have this, too.
Have access to someone who’s been there before with a technology background, navigated a similar career path and expresses ideas in a way that connects with your thinking.
Please get in touch with me within the next ten days, but be quick, as the number of slots available is limited to 10. I will provide coaching and advice for the session, and you will leave with practical steps you can take.
What to expect from the session
These sessions are 1 hour long and are structured like this:
We will start with what is working for you and where you are trying to get to - I believe in accentuating and investing in your strengths.
We will then explore your issues and your attempts to respond to them.
If you feel stuck, I can offer advice from the breadth and length of my career experience.
With my help, you will identify a practical step of progress you can take.
When booking the session, ensure the calendar shows availability and the time and date suit you. I want to ensure that every one of those slots is used to help someone in need.
Update: all sessions have now been taken!
If you missed out and would like to be notified should I do this again in the future leave me a message here or DM me on my LinkedIn or Twitter/X accounts.
